About Life Lyrics
Prior to the loss of my father, I undertook the deeply personal journey of capturing his memories, stories, humour, values and life lessons in a personal memoir. That experience, and the resulting legacy left for the three generations of family and friends who knew him and loved him, revealed the profound gift of preserving a life story — while it can still be shared. It became the inspiration for Life Lyrics.

Life Lyrics offers a range of life celebrant services, including memorial ceremonies, celebration of life events, Life story writing and grief support. Each service is tailored to meet the unique needs of families and inidividuals.
How do you go about writing someone's life story / memoir?
I ask you questions about so I understand your vision for a book or keepsake. I then propose an approach, using a specially designed set of questions that we tailor together, to ensure it focuses on what is most meaningful and relevant to you. I have hundreds of tried and test questions for us to choose from, change and customise. We then decide on whether we meet virtually or in person, and how often.
What if I have something in mind that isnt on this website?
I am a professional and very creative and open minded woman dedicated to bringing to life the stories we've lived and honoring the people, experiences and places most important to us. I am always eager to hear ideas and suggestions and will do my best to make it happen for you and your family. I guide you through a process, ensuring that your wishes and those of your loved one are honored.
What are the costs for your services?
Following an initial conversation, I'll provide a quote based on the experience you'd like to create. Most clients invest between $500 and $5,000, depending on the scope of the project and the nature of the service/s selected.
